Cyprus is an island situated within the Mediterranean Sea. It is inhabited with mountains on the north and south and the south coast is covered with plains. The temperatures are truly hot indicating Mediterranean climate. Winters are cooler. Nicosia is the capital city of Cyprus. The currency used right here is Cypriot Pound.

Tradition
Greek, English and Turkish would be the languages spoken right here. There is a mixed tradition of Greek and Middle East. The locals are very friendly and welcome outsiders with an open heart and make them feel at house by offering them with something to drink. To greet someone a handshake will do. It’s customary to offer the guest a little gift when invited for dinner. One can dress casually, but the swimsuits should be confined to the beaches only. Social functions call for formal dressing.

If you will be driving, gas prices will be a huge consideration. If you’re going to be driving more than 300 miles, depending on the gas mileage of your vehicle, it will probably be cheaper to fly. It is recommended that you drive only if you are going to a location that isn’t too very far from your home.
There can be huge advantages, however, to driving. You won’t have to worry as much about dates and times. You can just pack up and go. There’s something to be said for seeing the country out the windows of a car.
