Each year Pattaya receives more than five million visitors. It became a well-liked place for vacation and has continued to stand as such. You can get on Bangkok Airlines and get connected from the UK to Pattaya’s U-Tapao Airport via Phuket. Or you better just trip to Bangkok, from there you get many options to fly into Phucket, which is only 150 kms away from Pattaya, so it is much easier if you arrive to it by road.
You can decide to fly in, U-Tapao, which is primarily a military facility. It is the closest airport handling commercial passenger flights but only to a handful of destinations. The direct door-to-door minibus is the quickest transportation option to get you from U-Tapao to Pattaya, about 30 minutes.
In the last few years, Pattaya has tried to draw families of visitors with a new image. The beer bars and go-go joints have been de-emphasized, and now families from Thailand and from all over Asia visit Pattaya in large numbers. The beaches nearby are excellent, and many kinds of entertainment can be found, ranging from shooting to golf to bungee jumping.

If you rarely fly, you may mistakenly believe that first class seats, also commonly known as business class seats, are only for the rich. They are expensive, so only the rich must be able to afford them. This is not true. Did you know that many of the people sitting in first class did not pay full price for their ticket? In fact, some are relaxing in first class with a free upgrade from coach. How does this happen? How can you get an upgrade to first class?
1. Pay for an Upgrade
When it comes to paying for an upgrade, you have two options. Most airlines enable flyers to upgrade their seats to first class on their website. If you monitor your flight and know that first class is quickly filling, you may want to upgrade your seats in advance. You can usually do this on the airline’s reservation website or over-the-phone with a representative. You can also upgrade at the airport ticket counter. When checking in, ask if there are first class upgrades available for sale. If there are, purchase an upgrade. They are usually cheaper at the airport and at the last minute.

There are various ways to arrive at your vacation destination. Once, the only way a family could afford a vacation was to load up the car and head out on the road. But you don’t necessarily have to drive to vacation anymore. There are all kinds of options today that are affordable and much more enjoyable!
Driving
If you will be driving, gas prices will be a huge consideration. If you’re going to be driving more than 300 miles, depending on the gas mileage of your vehicle, it will probably be cheaper to fly. It is recommended that you drive only if you are going to a location that isn’t too very far from your home.
There can be huge advantages, however, to driving. You won’t have to worry as much about dates and times. You can just pack up and go. There’s something to be said for seeing the country out the windows of a car.

Airport security often channels passengers into lanes that separate expert and casual travelers. Do you ever wondering how to adopt the time-saving measures and put yourself in the fast lane? Here are some useful tips for speeding through airport security;
Wear Slip-On Shoes
Life is easier when you don’t have to wrestle with laces while balancing on one foot in a moving line. Wear slip-on or otherwise easy-to-remove (and replace) shoes and you’ll speed things up on both ends of the checkpoint.
Shed Bulky Clothing
Remember to take off your jacket, sweaters, and sweatshirts and put them on the conveyor belt with your carry-ons.
