The Canary Islands are located just off the coast of Africa. And enjoy a semi-tropical climate – making them an ideal holiday destination all year round.

As a result the islands have become a real hot favourite with visitors from sun starved Northern European nations such as the UK and Germany, attracting around nine million foreign tourists every year.

Lanzarote is the fourth largest of the islands. With a much more arid and barren terrain than the larger, lusher islands of Tenefire and Gran Canaria.
